SOS Coffee

I was working from home one day and needed a change of scenery from the same four walls, so I decided to give SOS Coffee a try. I hadn’t visited before, although I had often looked across at it from The Royal Standard pub and noticed how busy it always seemed to be. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was much more seating inside than I had expected from the outside. The café offers a great selection of drinks and sweet treats, as well as excellent Wi-Fi and toilet facilities, making it a really convenient place to work. There was a lovely mix of people during my visit, including others working remotely, parents with their children and people with their pets, which created a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Despite the variety of customers, it was surprisingly quiet, making it easy to work comfortably. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend SOS Coffee to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed café to work, meet friends or simply enjoy a coffee and something sweet.

I needed a place to work for the day, and after walking past SOS countless times without ever stopping in, I finally decided to give it a try. The café had a mix of people with the same idea, as well as parents with children and a few pets, yet it still felt calm and quiet enough to focus. I was able to get on with my work undisturbed, the prices were reasonable, and there’s even a toilet available. A great spot overall. I highly recommend it!
